Luckily, Kratos is able to pick up on that. He gives Loki a slight nod. As he suspected, this man is what caused the disturbance.
"It's dangerous to stay in places like this for too long," he explains calmly, "Monsters are known to roam here, usually in greater quantities than they do in the fields. If you'd like, I can accompany you to a nearby town."
Hopefully, Loki will be agreeable to this. Kratos does not want any more trouble than is warranted at this point.
